500 браконьеров из Актюбинской области

On the territory of Aktobe region recently lifted the ban for fishermen to catch the following fish species: bream, carp, catfish and others. The ban was introduced due to the fish spawning, which took place from April 20 and ended on June 15. As usually happens, not all fishing enthusiasts reacted to prohibitive measures. In particular, the fishing was recorded in Algin and Hobdinskoe areas. During surgery, which took place under the code name “Bere” was confiscated 31 tons caught in forbidden months fish. In addition, investigators seized nearly 3 tons of fish of the species of sturgeon, also 23 pounds of fresh caviar. About 500 poachers issued administrative fines, the total of approximately 3 000 000 tenge. It is estimated the total damage done during the spawning season – 8 000 000 tenge.
