Мировой рекорд по ловле европейского окуня

Resident of Ukraine set a new world record by catching European perch in 2015. The record was Bazhan Potelco who lives in Poltava oblast, the village of Berezova Luka.

The only pond or in the Ukrainian dialect of the rates was once the possession of his ancestors. Bazhan recalls how his great-grandfather literally prepared rates for fish. Large snapper appeared not accidentally. When great-grandfather came from the distant fishing of the catch he ran in local rates to control local populations of carp. In Berezova Luka always grew grapes and made wonderful wine. The pomace of the grapes were thrown into the lake to feed the fish. Local fish was very fond of grapes. Bazhan said that perch catches on vingrad. Within twenty years of the fishermen engaged in this trophy fishing – he simply releases the fish back into the rates.

27 March 2015 Bazhan went fishing. As bait he used a handful of raisins, pre-soaked in white wine. Perch took the bait, but to pull the fish was only 5 minutes of fighting. “This perch I did not see never in life,” said Bazhan. At the local store he weighed the bass on the scales. The surprise was not the limit! The fish weight was 3.72 kg!

The grandson of a fisherman grandfather advised to register a catch in the club, which has official permission for the registration of world records in Ukraine. Now Bazhan Potolki – owner of the new world record for catching European perch. The last record was registered in 2014. Willem was faced with Incom – Dutch – caught perch weighing 3.48 kg.
